1. Main dimensions

  • Computation of the impeller main dimensions: hub and tip diameter at inlet and outlet
  • Use of built-in or user-defined approximation functions for determination of parameters
  • 2 alternativ design modes: Airfoil/Hydrofoil or Mean line

2. Meridional contour

  • Design of meridional contour by Beziersplines, arcs and lines or user-defined polylines
  • Positioning of straight or curved leading edge
  • Display information pertaining to important geometrical parameters

3. Blade properties

  • Blade design on 2 to 15 meridional flow sections
  • Specification of cu, cm-distribution
  • Profile selection and angle of attack
  • Calculation of optimal stagger angles and chord lengths
  • Display velocity triangles and tabular listing of velocity components and flow angles

4. Blade profiles

  • Display of rotated and scaled blade profiles
  • Display of thickness distribution
  • Optional radial 2D blade shape

5. Blade sweep

  • 3D blade sweep using 2 alternative modes
  • Profile stacking on centroids, leading or trailing edge

6. 3D-views

  • Dynamic 3D-representation (rotate, move, zoom)
  • Partial views
  • Export of CAD model
